In the UK, it's estimated that around half of the nation's welders are due to retire by 2027. This will create a massive void of highly skilled and experienced professionals. Simultaneously, there is a persistent struggle to attract younger individuals into the welding industry. The impact of this trend can only amount to supply chain disruptions such as rising manufacturing costs and difficult quality control.
Our vision
Over a decade ago, we could see that a labour and skills crisis in the future was highly probable. We took action by investing in robotic welding & developing that process since then. This decision gave us a solid foundation that assured our customers that we would meet their productivity requirements in addition to stabilizing costs for them and give direct commitment to the future.
